The hurricane’s clouds and rainfalls have affected the Isla de la Juventud and the western edge of Pinar del Rio since the morning; and they will spread to the rest of the western region in the course of the afternoon with numerous rains, showers and lightning storms, which can be strong and intense in some locations.

Starting in Tuesday afternoon, the force of the winds will increase in the Isla de la Juventud and the western edge of Pinar del Rio, with speeds between 40 and 55 kilometers per hour and higher gusts, which will gradually extend to the southern coast of Pinar del Rio and Artemisa. In addition, on the southwestern coast there will be strong swells, with the onset of light floods in the Canarreos archipelago and Isla de la Juventud from tonight, which will gradually spread to the south coast of Pinar del Rio and Artemisa, and they can become moderate in the Guanahacabibes peninsula.
