Cuba’s leading export products present at German fair

Berlin, Sep 21 (Prensa Latina) Several leading export products represented Cuba at the German Habano Cigars fair, held this weekend, diplomatic sources reported on Monday.

Brands such as Partagas, Ron Caney, Ron Santiago de Cuba, Ron Vacilon and Ron Havana Club were present at the event held in the Spree River port in Berlin, capital of Germany, where the attendees could also enjoy the Cuban food.

According to a diplomatic note, the meeting was organized and held under strict hygiene and safety measures to prevent Covid-19.

The Cuban diplomatic representation attended the activity, which also included representatives of other Latin American countries such as Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Brazil.

The German market for cigars is characterized by the diversity of offerings and origins, and the Cuban Habano cigars have played a prevailing role.

The event was hosted by Maximilian Herzog, known as ‘Habano Man of the Year.’ He directs two Casas del Habano (Habano Houses) in Berlin.
