Hezbollah: Armed resistance the only way to liberate Palestine

Beirut, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) The Deputy Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, affirmed that armed resistance is the only way to liberate Palestine from the Israeli occupation.

Qassem pointed out during a speech at a conference in the holy Islamic city of Qom, Iran, that the normalization of relations with Tel Aviv only supports the interests of the Zionist government.

In the Lebanese leader’s opinion, Israel has the military and political support of superpowers and, therefore, there is no possibility of victory within the laws elaborated by the West and allies of Zionism.

The great powers, Qassem added, protect the legitimation of the occupiers, hence the situation will never change in favor of Palestine and other regional states if they yield to those powers.

Qassem called the recent steps taken by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain to normalize relations with Israel ‘treason’ against Palestine and Jerusalem.

The Lebanese Deputy Secretary of Hezbollah emphasized that those in the Arab world yearning to reconcile with Israel and the conspirators against Palestine can make decisions for that oppressed nation.

Challenging the agreements of the Zionist regime provides an opportunity to know who the supporters of Palestine and the servants of Israel are, he said.
