SND Director Sebastian Bauza launched a solidarity campaign among athletes who have recovered from Covid-19 to donate plasma.

He added that to that end, he got in touch with the Uruguayan Basketball Federation (FUBB), the Uruguayan Football Federation (AUF), the Rugby Union of Uruguay (URU) and other federations within the Secretariat.

Players from First Division Football Teams who suffered from Covid-19 joined the campaign to visualize it on local media.

Months ago, members of the Uruguayan football team were infected with Covid-19 during the qualifying games for the World Cup in Qatar against Colombia and Brazil.
