Organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, as part of the CULTURE GATE to JAPAN initiative, the exhibition brings together pieces by six artists who work with new technologies to promote the attractions of Japan.

Art, entertainment, animation and manga make up the exhibition that ventures into the field of media arts, focused on the problems of today’s society and its relationship with the culture of the past and the direction towards the future.

On the event’s official website, the previous contents of the research and its production process until the deployment of the artworks are shown, including Midway Stone, by Fujikura Asako; Blank clocks, by Iguchi Kota; and Tokyo Behavior, by Tsuda Michiko.

The artoworks on display are based on perceptions of time, the oriental Zen aesthetic current, bonsai, the port cities of Japan and the lifestyles of the Showa time that corresponds to the reign of the emperor of the same name.
