Syria hosts solidarity event with Palestinian prisoners in Israel

Damascus, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) The Jaramana refugee camp, in the suburbs of Damascus, hosted on Saturday a solidarity event with Palestinians imprisoned by the Zionist regime of Israel.

The participants urged the international community and human rights organizations around the world to censor and denounce the genocidal policies and arbitrary measures of the occupying forces in the Golan Heights, Gaza and the West Bank, among others.

Similarly, they stressed that the 90-day-long prisoners’ hunger strike, which includes Maher Al-Akhras, is a form of resistance and a message that confirms that the will of the prisoners will never be defeated, and that they cannot take away their freedom.

The event was convened by the Alliance of Palestinian Forces in Syria, as well as by political and social organizations of the country.
