Mailed vote counting to conclude in Nevada, US

Washington, Nov 5 (Prensa Latina) Electoral authorities in the US state of Nevada will publish the results of the counting of mailed votes on Thursday, as part of the November 3 elections.

That is one of the US territories where those data are still pending, in addition to Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, amid threats by President Donald Trump to file lawsuits to stop the vote counting.

The results include the ballots received by mail on Tuesday and Wednesday, as Democratic Candidate Joe Biden leads the results in Nevada.

The undersecretary of State for the Elections in Nevada, Wayne Thorley, said in a text message on Wednesday that his office would probably publish some additional results that afternoon, but he pointed out later that he would wait until Thursday morning.

No Republican presidential candidate has won in Nevada since 2004, but the state is still a battlefield, the Associated Press reported.
