President-elect of Bolivia condemns destabilizing maneuvers

La Paz, Nov 1 (Prensa Latina) The president-elect of Bolivia, Luis Arce, urged today to rebuild peace and economic stability in the country, by condemning the destabilizing maneuvers of small groups in the department of Santa Cruz.

With only seven days to take over as head of the Plurinational State, Arce rejected in his personal Twitter account the violent attack on businesses and homes of the population of Santa Cruz by minority groups that harm the nation.

The winning candidate for the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) summoned the Bolivian people to reflection with the purpose of returning to the path of peace, economic and social stability.

Arce assured that the investigations should clarify the motives of the provocateurs, alluding to the burning of booths of Santa Cruz merchants.

In the social network itself, the winner in the elections of last October 18 insisted on the need to activate the productive forces and preserve peace in the South American nation.

The president of the Senate, Eva Copa, yesterday asked blockers to give the elected president the opportunity to work on the conformation of her cabinet and the comprehensive project for the reactivation of economic, social and healthy life in the country.

According to the Bolivian News Agency, Copa dismissed the electoral fraud and highlighted the popular support for the pairing of Arce and David Choquehuanca in the last elections, in which they received 55.10 percent of the votes.
