On a virtual event, Morales thanked Argentinians’ warm welcome referring to his stay there for 11 months since the coup, and recalled that from Argentina, the MAS movement elected the formula made up by Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca as president and vice president, respectively, who finally won October elections. Bolivia’s former head of State will return to his country on November 9.

Excited by this new title, the leader noted that he will now return to his town to take care of Arce alias Lucho and the new reconstruction process in his country after the coup of which he was a victim, and confirmed that the Bolivian response was the best proof to tell the whole world that there was never fraud.

The united and arranged people recovered democracy after a year of the coup. With great patience and awareness, we regain political power without deaths or injuries, without burning houses, stressed the former president, who also advocated an international campaign to end discrimination and racism once and for all.

Morales delved into the process of change that he led in the last 14 years along with the Movement Towards Socialism to achieve a plurinational State.

‘We demonstrated that another Bolivia was possible without international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund,’ he said.
